Adama is a Sierra Leonean-American storyteller, strategist, marketer, and fine arts enthusiast based in Washington, D.C. Her work as a storyteller spans disciplines and mediums—from oration and long-form writing to creative direction and curation—but what every project has in common is that each aligns with her purpose to create socially engaging and inclusive solutions in every space she enters.
Adama received two bachelors in Anthropology and International Studies from Emory University, magna cum laude. By day, Adama works full-time as a Creative Strategist at Creative Theory Agency (CTA), where her clients include, but are not limited to, Google, Meta, Delta, AdCouncil, and lululemon. Before her time at CTA, Adama led the Racial Equity Grant at the human rights nonprofit, Humanity in Action, served as a research and curatorial associate at The James Weldon Johnson Institute of Race and Difference. and conducted research on gender-based violence in West Africa at The Carter Center.
